Shelter reservations for 2021 will resume on January 4th, 2021 at 12:01am.

Please read "Welcome (and How To Get Started)" on the front page of this website in order to book a shelter.

If you've booked a shelter in the past, please use your established username and password to login and book again.  You must have a username and password to book a shelter.


 

 

Summer Recreation 2021

REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER RECREATION 2021
Summer Recreation will take place June 28th – August 6, 2021Recreation will run Monday – Friday from 9:00 am until noon (12:00)Registration will only be online starting May 1st running through June 15th or until all spots are filled.Due to COVID restriction we can only allow 72 kids in the age group 5-8 and 30 kids in the age group 9-12.  This is so we can adhere to the CDC guidelines for social distancing and group numbers for summer camps.Due to COVID restrictions we are unable to host recreation on rainy days.  The Recreation Coordinator will establish means of communication for cancellation of these days.  Monday, July 5th is a Borough Holiday, the building will be closed and there will not be rec on this day.Children will be placed into groups on the first day of camp, they will remain in the same group with the same counselor each day for the duration of the summer recreation program.Masks must be worn the entire time your child is at summer recreation, if your child shows up without a mask they will be asked to leave.Parents are not allowed to exit the car when dropping off/picking up your child/children.  A drop off/pick up line will be established, and counselors will help direct the children.Food is not permitted, and each child must bring their own water bottle with their name on it.As of right now, there will not be any field trips, this could change at a later date.The Family Fun Night and Movie Nights will not take place this year.IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK DO NOT SEND THEM TO CAMP!IF YOU OR A FAMILY MEMBER HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO CAMP.IF YOU, YOUR CHILD, OR SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 PLEASE LET THE RECREATION COORDINATOR KNOW IMMEDIATELY SO WE CAN NOTIFY THE GROUP YOUR CHILD WAS IN TO QUARANTINE.There will be NO REGISTRATION on the first day of Summer Recreation or thereafter.There is a $50.00 registration fee per childFamily discount rate is:$40.00 Second child$30.00 Third childand $20.00 fourth child

Welcome (and How To Get Started)

Welcome to the new Resident Portal for Pleasant Hills Borough!

Currently, you can use this resource to do the following:

  • Reserve shelters at either Mowry Park or Pleasant Kingdom.
  • Use online registration to sign up for the borough's summer recreation program.

In the future, you will be able to use the Resident Portal for paying certain taxes and paying parking fines.  If you have other ideas for this Portal, let us know.

To get started ...

  • Create an account.  If you don't have an account, use the "create an account" link on the left side menu.
  • Fill out the account registration form providing your name, preferred username, email address, and preferred password.
  • Once your login account is created, login to the Resident Portal using your new username and password on the left-side.

To register online for Summer Rec, choose "Register for Summer Rec" from the "Registered User Menu" once logged in.

To reserve a shelter, choose "Add/Purchase a Booking" from the "Registered User Menu".

Both of these services will require that you make a payment via Paypal at the end of making either a registration or a reservation.  You do not need a Paypal account in order to use Paypal to make a payment.

 

 

Shelter Fees & Policies

Pleasant Hills Resident Fees: Mowry Park Shelter's #1 & #2 and Pleasant Kingdom Shelter's A & B are $75.00 of which includes a $25.00 security deposit which will be refunded if the shelter area is clean and damage free.

All Others: Mowry Park Shelter's #1 & #2 and Pleasant Kingdom Shelter's A & B are $100.00 which includes a $25.00 security deposit which will be refunded if the shelter area is clean and undamaged.

Non Profit Groups: All shelters are $50.00 which includes a $25.00 security deposit which will be refunded if the shelter area is clean and undamaged.

Read MorePicnic shelters may be reserved in person at the Municipal Building, 410 East Bruceton Road, 2nd floor Administration Department or by calling 412-655-3300. The picnic shelter fee is required by check, cash or money order made payable to Borough of Pleasant Hills within five (5) business days of reservation or the reservation will be cancelled.  Last minute picnic shelter reservation fee MUST be paid in cash.  Picture I.D. and permit holder’s signature agreeing to all Borough terms is also required.  All reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Securtiy deposit refund will be mailed to permit holder above approximately one month after event date.
